Five years ago, I started RoadVantage with a few guiding principles in mind:
- Offer the best products on the market.
- Hire the best people in the F&I industry and give them the tools and support they need to succeed.
- Form relationships with agents and dealers that go beyond just trying to sell them something. Give them a truly genuine customer experience, removing every headache possible – from sales to admin to claims and beyond.
How do we do that? We’ve worked hard to create a culture where agents’ feedback is welcomed and encouraged, and we do our best to incorporate that into our offerings. We’ve completely redone our forms with simpler language and dramatically reduced exclusions. We’ve taken an innovative approach to claims, setting goals for claims approvals and strong customer service. We create custom marketing materials for our agents and dealers on the fly. And in every department, from the top on down, we answer our phones.
This month, we are celebrating five very successful years serving the automotive market. This year alone, we have seen a 51{137f86425451f0eed4391b215cab1f0aedcc26ced4aeb45d9a5267c3194b8614} increase in agents including our products in their portfolios and a 72{137f86425451f0eed4391b215cab1f0aedcc26ced4aeb45d9a5267c3194b8614} growth year-over-year in new dealerships selling RoadVantage programs…And all this while maintaining an average of 97{137f86425451f0eed4391b215cab1f0aedcc26ced4aeb45d9a5267c3194b8614} of all claims approved in eight minutes or less.
Also this month, we are celebrating our second Dealers’ Choice Award. We are just five years in, and for the second year in a row, RoadVantage has won in the F&I Products category, this year winning Platinum. This is very exciting news for the entire RoadVantage team.
We are exceptionally grateful, and wanted to take a moment to thank those who voted for us. To qualify for this award, which is voted on exclusively by automotive dealers and dealership personnel, a provider must be among those who score an above average score in four categories: the product/service itself; customer support and service; overall value; and whether the dealer would recommend the provider to others.
Since dealers are the only ones eligible to vote, and we’re the youngest player in this market, we were delighted that so many dealers nationwide chose to vote for RoadVantage. It is a true testament to the efforts of every RoadVantage team member who comes in contact with dealers on a day-to-day basis – from claims to admin to sales to custom marketing materials. RoadVantage employees are passionate about helping our customers, and about making a difference every day, and it’s exciting to see this recognized through dealer votes.
So, while having great products is the foundation, I attribute our rapid and continuing success to providing a second-to-none customer experience that extends to the agents, dealers and end-consumers. Agents and dealers can feel confident knowing that when a claim comes in, we will take care of their customers, and consumers can feel confident knowing they aren’t going to find themselves fighting hidden fees, exclusions or reasons to wiggle out of contracts. We take a great deal of pride in this approach to F&I, and I believe our numbers are very clearly demonstrating that it was the right path to take.
We set out to provide great products with exceptional service, and our approach has paid off in record growth year after year. To have the industry recognize us with this award as well is truly an honor. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
All this is possible because my employees stand behind the philosophy and vision I have for this company. They are the heart and soul of RoadVantage, and without them, it would not be nearly as successful as it is. RoadVantage isn’t just a company — it is a labor of love….Not just mine, but of every person who works here. I am incredibly proud of what we have built together, and I am proud to serve this industry that I care so much about. Here’s to five, ten, twenty and more years of growth and service.
